Somerset County residents now can go online to verify the location of their polling place for the upcoming election, according to county Election Board Administrator Jerry L. Midgette.

A searchable, interactive map of polling locations in all 21 municipalities can be found via a geographic information system website. To use the application, select the Election Polling Places icon at the top of the page. Enter your address from your voter registration either by selecting the map or by typing it into the search box.

Your assigned polling location, based on your election district, will appear in the panel along with additional information about the polling location, such as what type of building it is in (school, firehouse, etc.).
